Qliphothic Dawn

Cold dappled dew of quicksilver
Falling upon emerald golden stream
Rushing through valleys of ephemeral bliss
Roaring with great force across stars
Slick with slime
Mouths tasting the air of translucence
Invisible to the eyes yet seen by all
If you look within
Colors collapse and bleed to rise again
We create new colors, new words
Places that have never been
Become icy ruins
Become havens of life
New forms from old wastes
That the qliphoth begets
And emptiness crowns Kether
as Daath reverses itself inside the sphere
all the glorious shining ones reclaim
all that is lost below
scaly and reptilian, antediluvian
crawling to the surface once more
our most ancient selves
flung far into ever evolving futures
sliding plates shifting and falling
portals and gateways opening and closing
as eyes which absorb with sight beyond
what can be seen, what can be felt
in the infinite but never revealed
all the phases are passed to begin anew
the purple clouds form in stellar waves
penetrating the circle drawn with the blood
of creatures that slither and crawl
eyes slit but seeing all
the movement of the spheres rotating with precision
space growing between space
time ending, beginning
timelessness
chaos stars born
the womb of the belly of the dragon
deep and wide
spewing fires of infinity
to rise and consume the firmament
collapsing stars, imploding suns
moons burn red and the sky is ice
I wrote this a couple of years ago during a nightime flight, finally got around to transcribing it onto the computer. I started out wanting to write a idyllic, elegiac piece but it quickly evoloved into a surreal, macabre and winding, in many ways non-linear piece, Written during the same flight as one of my earlier Deviations this week, Web of Spider Queen. High altitude seems to inspire my creativity, of course the in-flight drinks probably aids the process a bit too,
